By my count, over 80% of the chapters in the New Testament mention something about heaven (like, the coming kingdom, eternal life, Jesus’ return, judgement day, etc.).

With this coming future as the constant backdrop of their teaching, I doubt they were struggling like we are today to get people to show up for a prayer meeting 🙂
